With a catchy name Burger Theory brings an exciting burger reality. Burger Theory is a standout burger joint in Adelaide, with creative burger flavours, attractively desined burger joint and excellent combo deals. We made a beeline for Burger Theory one Friday night, magically getting a park round the corner on Rundle St. Like a good movie the first thing you see when you approach Burger Theory is the neon glow of the signage.
We were impressed with the burger of the month - providing innovation and flair in new burger flavours. The patty is crucial to any burger and the thick Angus Beef patty is a winner, juicy and seasoned well. Add fries and a beer for an extra $9, excellent value indeed. Located in the Rundle St precinct this place hums, especially at night. Service was excellent. We enjoy the humour of these guys, their Facebook referring to "house ground" and "hand formed" beef mince patties in their "natural habitat". They use Coorong Angas Beef patties no less, and call their food truck "Pearl". Most would class them among the best burgers in Adelaide. Certainly according to the punters we've spoken with. Six burgers on display - what to choose? Burger #2 with the blue cheese sauce is imaginative and nouveau, as is the vegetarian option with spiced black beans. It's the deals that capture us - for only $9 you get fries and a beer/wine/soft drink. As a beer itself often costs $8 or $9 in venues, it's exceptional value. An app even tells you where the food truck is!
