Having grown up in the Adelaide Hills, Piccadilly Restaurant has been a restaurant we have visited often. The ambience is almost unparelled in Adelaide, with an incredible heritage property and hotel of Mt Lofty House. Sit in Piccadilly Restaurant and imbibe both the architecture and the views. Having also stayed here in a suite, the whole experience is uber rewarding. (Cover photo from restaurant Facebook). The restaurant serves up local and seasonal produce with flair, perfect for a special occasion.
The setting at Piccadilly Restaurant is more formal than it is casual. White table cloths, fine plates, art on the walls, and dim lighting (as you can see from our photo). When your gaze is not fixed on the finery inside, enjoy the sweeping views of Piccadilly Valley outside (just stunning).
Table service was excellent when we visited Picadilly Restaurant for an important family occasion. Staff are attentive and engaging with excellent recommendations. The Pork belly was a delightful dish with generous amount of tender pork belly with crispy skin on top. The photo from the restaurant Facebook page was superior to ours taken in dim light.
The A La Catre menu is rewarding with appeal to broad tastes.
Again from the restaurant Facebook is the Barramundi, Lamb and a Quinoa dish. This is all beautiful food with fine presentation.
Apart from the restaurant there are 33 guest rooms, 7 function rooms and massive grounds with superb gardens.
