Adelaide get ready for a cool concert from acclaimed pianist Andrew Hagger, launching his third album Vivid at Entropy in Thebarton. Andrew Hagger has teamed up with sensational French pianist Elodie Sablier and David Holmes for an unforgettable evening including dinner and the concert. Vivid celebrates the moments that lend life colour and intensity – from a brilliant splash of neon reflected in dark waters to the long-awaited blossoming of spring flowers. The album features bonus tracks from pianist and composer Elodie Sablier and guitarist Tommy Emmanuel.

Born in Adelaide, Andrew developed a love for music at an early age, learning classical piano from the age of three. After university he pursued a successful career in finance, which took him to London, Africa and Asia before he settled in Melbourne.
Andrew has a passion for classical and jazz, creating music that inspires, uplifts and comforts. His songs recognise the beauty in everyday moments, and paint a perfect backdrop for gatherings with loved ones or a precious moment alone.
Fine Music FM has applauded his “harmonic changes as he takes the listener to an imagined perfect place” while the Australian Financial Review described his style as “ethereal”.
Andrew has released three albums – Hope (2012), Moon Under Water (2013) and Vivid (2015) – and has performed to sold-out audiences across Australia, including at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Melbourne’s Bennetts Lane and Sydney's iconic Basement.
Through his albums, Andrew also provides awareness and funds for not-for-profit organisations, including the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre, Kids Under Cover, the Leukaemia Foundation and the Australian Children’s Music Foundation.
When he’s not at the piano, Andrew is Group Executive for NAB Wealth and Chief Executive Officer of MLC.
He is also chair of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre Appeal Committee, and a former board director of the Wheeler Centre for Books, Writing and Ideas, and Christian Schools Australia. From 2006 to 2011, Andrew was a director on the Melbourne International Jazz Festival Board.
A successful French pianist and composer, Elodie Sablier studied at the Conservatoires of Lyon and Paris where she obtained First Prizes in composition as well as in piano performance. Elodie moved to Australia in 2008 and has since released two successful albums, Vertigo and Silent Bridge, as well as collaborating with Andrew on his albums Moon Under Water and Vivid. She also regularly joins him in concert around Australia.
An accomplished guitarist, David Homes has been described as a musical genius, performing on over 400 albums including three of his own.
